Phase 2: Queue

Your content queue should never be empty. The engine researches trends, monitors competitors, analyzes keywords, and generates prioritized topic recommendations — weekly, automatically. You just approve.

How the queue fills itself

Every week, the engine runs a cycle: scan trending topics in your niche, check what competitors published, analyze keyword gaps, and identify content opportunities. It generates 5-10 new topic recommendations, each with a suggested title, target keyword, content type, and estimated difficulty. The queue is always full — you're never scrambling for what to write next.

Most content teams spend 3-5 hours per week deciding what to write. The queue does that research automatically. You spend 15 minutes approving.

The four content types

The queue recommends a mix of content types based on your strategy: (1) Pillar guides — comprehensive, 2,000+ word pieces that anchor topic clusters. (2) Cluster articles — focused pieces that support pillars and target specific long-tail keywords. (3) Comparison content — vs. posts, alternatives, and best-of lists that capture commercial intent. (4) FAQ/Answer pages — direct answers to questions your audience asks, optimized for featured snippets and AI citation.

Prioritization logic

Not all topics are equal. The queue prioritizes by: keyword opportunity (volume vs. difficulty), competitive gap (are competitors covering this?), strategic alignment (does it match your ICPs and goals?), and cluster fit (does it strengthen an existing topic cluster?). High-priority topics float to the top. Low-priority topics wait. You always work on what moves the needle most.
